ELO-P Fall Fest Shines Despite the Rain

Despite the heavy rain, ELO-P’s Fall Fest brought together 45 enthusiastic students for a two-day fall camp filled with 8–9 hours each day of hands-on enrichment, creativity, and fun. Students participated in a variety of engaging activities, including cookie decorating, storytelling, and creating their very own scary movie trailers.

TK–1st grade students received literacy packets to take home, helping to extend the spirit of learning beyond the classroom. Marisela from Community Schools led an inspiring storytelling workshop, encouraging students to use their imaginations and voices to bring their stories to life.

Meanwhile, students who participated in the movie trailer project wrote their own scripts, filmed, acted, and even edited their videos—showcasing impressive teamwork and creativity.

The ELO-P team was grateful to provide these opportunities and proud to see students thrive through two full days of project-based learning. Rain or shine, Fall Fest was a true celebration of student talent and community connection.
